Bilbao adds two 100% electric Irizar i2e buses to its fleet

As of today, the city of Bilbao will have two new 100% electric Irizar i2e buses. These buses are joining the Bilbobus fleet and will operate on several lines.
The contract includes the provision of 18 Irizar i2e 100% electric articulated buses (BRT), of 18.73 metres in length, the charging stations at the end of each line with fast charging infrastructure, or even slower charging at the depots.
Thanks to the excellent operating results of the two 100% electric buses that have been operating in London since June 2015, an agreement that includes service and maintenance has been signed with London’s largest operator, Go-Ahead.
